Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Upper Mill Street, Vredehoek @ 17:45 on the 6th April 2023. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a white Ford Ranger had been broken into. The rear window was smashed and a sports bag was taken from the vehicle. The client declined SAPS.

Common Theft, Buitenkant Street, Gardens @ 15:46 on the 7th April 2023. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a female tourist had withdrawn cash from the ATM and card swipers offered her assistance and in the process took her bank card. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Common Theft, Devonport Road, Tamboerskloof @ 18:55 on the 7th April 2023. Our monitoring centre received a burglar alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported two outside cameras had been stolen from the premises.

Housebreak In & Theft, New Market Street, Foreshore @ 11:57 on the 8th April 2023. Our monitoring centre received a call from a client reporting the neighbour had informed them the electric fence was broken. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a window on the second floor and the electric fence on the left side of the building were broken. Only low battery signals were received. The client who was not in Cape Town was informed. At 18:30 the client arrived and upon investigation it was found that the suspects gained access via the window and took an I Phone 8, a cash box and alcohol. The surveillance cameras had also been damaged.

Housebreak In & Theft, Molteno Road, Oranjezicht @ 07:19 on the 9th April 2023. Our monitoring centre received a call from a client reporting his home had been burgled and requested AR to meet the housekeeper at the premises as he was away. Multiple alarm activations had been received during the early hours and AR reported a front and side check. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there were no signs of forced entry. It was suspected access was gained via the roof and a kettle and toaster were taken. There was no need for SAPS as the client would report the incident upon his return.

No alarm signals were received – only low batteries. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via a small window on the second floor and a few items were taken. SAPS were in attendance.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Yeoville Road, Vredehoek @ 01:08 on the 13th April 2023. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a white mini-van had just been broken into and the suspect had run off toward Davenport Road. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the vehicle had not been locked and the suspect took the cover of the radio. SAPS were declined.
