Malicious Damage to Property, Bedford Road, Vredehoek @ 06:06 on the 2nd December 2022. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a vehicle had been broken into. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the back and side windows of a white Honda had been smashed. It was not known to whom the vehicle belonged to.

Common Theft, Rosebank Place, Oranjezicht @ 19:39 on the 6th December 2022. Our monitoring centre received a buzzer alert. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the tenant a smart looking male had knocked on the door stating he was trimming the neighbours’ hedges and needed to be on their side, however he did not have an extension cord. While the tenant fetched the cord the suspect stated he was going back to the neighbours. After a while the tenant noticed two lap tops that were on the counter were missing. A witness stated the suspect was seen climbing into a white Etios. SAPS were in attendance.
