Arrest, Rocklands Avenue, Vredehoek @ 08:11 on the 3rd September 2022. Our monitoring centre received a burglary alarm from a premises. When calling, the client stated there was someone inside their vehicle. AR was dispatched and on arrival apprehended the male who was still in the vehicle. The suspect had gained access to the property via the neighbouring premises. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle which was parked in the yard. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Armed Robbery, Summerseat Close, Higgovale @ 17:17 on the 4th September 2022. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting someone had been attacked and robbed in front of a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a male had stabbed an elderly female in the right hand and taken her cell phone. The victim’s husband, upon hearing the screaming, went to investigate and had intervened when the suspect stabbed him in the right arm before fleeing. Their daughter escorted them to hospital and SAPS were in attendance.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Leeuwendal Crescent, Gardens @ 05:02 on the 5th September 2022. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting there had been burglary. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the client’s vehicle was broken into and a lap top was taken.

Housebreak In & Theft, Argyle Street, Woodstock @ 07:44 on the 5th September 2022. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting AR as it looked like the premises had been burgled. No alarm signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the front window was smashed and the burglar bars forced open and two laptops were taken. SAPS were informed.

Attempted Housebreak & Theft, Chelmsford Road, Vredehoek @ 00:53 on the 6th September 2022. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the client, suspects had tampered with the motor gate to gain access but failed.
