Attempted Housebreak & Theft, Luton Road, Vredehoek @ 08:43 on the 9th July 2022. Our monitoring centre received a burglar alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported someone had tried to access the premises to steal the client’s bicycle but was unsuccessful. There was no need for SAPS as the client would report the incident himself.

The client confirmed someone was trying to break in. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the suspect had fled when he was spotted by the client.

Armed Robbery, Derry Street, Vredehoek @ 19:47 on the 10th July 2022. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. The client stated they had been armed robbed. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported four males driving a white Polo had robbed staff and patrons. SAPS were in attendance.

Arrest, Justice Walk, Zonnebloem @ 17:31 on the 14th July 2022. Our monitoring centre received a report via the neighbourhood watch that a suspect was seen walking with a bag of flowers – possibly proteas. AR was dispatched and apprehended the suspect. The suspect was handed over to San Parks who escorted him to SAPS.

Motor Vehicle Break In, Gilmour Hill Road, Tamboerskloof @ 02:24 on the 15th July 2022. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that while on patrol a bag was seen lying on the ground in front of a Silver Renault Kwid. There were no visible damages to the vehicle but it looked as if the bag was taken from it. SAPS were dispatched and upon their arrival they placed the bag back in the vehicle before departing. It was not known to whom the vehicle belonged to.
