Common theft- Cambridge Street Walmer Estate @ 07:33 on 10/06/2022 a client requested AR due to cable theft. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported when staff reported for duty, they found the premises in darkness. Upon investigation it was found the cables had been stolen. SAPS were in attendance.

Assault/Medical –Hope Street Gardens @ 08:40 on 10/06/2022 medical assistance was requested. Medic 1 was dispatched and on arrival reported the school caretaker had been robbed and assaulted on his way to work. Suspects had stabbed him in the left shoulder and taken his cell phone. The patient was taken to hospital for treatment.

Attempted Robbery/Arrest – Woodburn Crescent Oranjezicht @ 09:09 on 12/06/2022 AR requested SAPS as a suspect had been apprehended. A female who had been walking down Glen Crescent had been attacked by a male suspect who wanted to take her handbag. The lady was assisted by a passing motorist who followed the suspect when he fled. CBAR was flagged down to assist and the suspect was caught in Woodburn Crescent. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Common Theft –Watsonia Street Devils Peak @ 07:15 on 13/06/2022 a buzzer alert was received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the tenant the battery of the motorised gate had been stolen. This was the second occurrence in the last two months. SAPS were declined.

Armed Robbery –Roeland Square Roeland Street Cape Town @ 06:24 on 14/06/2022 a burglar alarm was received from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there had been an armed robbery. Four black males had forced the front door open and taken several items from the storeroom. There were no injuries and SAPS were in attendance.

Housebreak In & Theft –New Church Street Tamboerskloof @ 12:46 on 14/06/2022 a client reported the premises had been burgled sometime during the night. No alarm signals were received – only openings and closings. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per camera footage the suspect had entered via the garage door and taken two televisions and an empty safe. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Armed Robbery – High Cape Three Body Corporate 1 Avenue Montagne High Cape @ 17:09 on 14/06/2022 multiple panic alarms were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported three male suspects driving a silver-grey Mazda registration CAA 177 477 had forced open the front door of unit 5 and entered the premises while the occupants – a husband, wife, two children and the domestic worker were home. The husband confronted the suspects and he was then stabbed in the left forearm. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything. The husband was taken to hospital for treatment. SAPS were in attendance.

Malicious Damage to Property/Arrest- None Client @ 03:43 on 16/06/2022 SS. Management reported that a suspicious male is fiddling with a garage door in Sir George Gray Street, Oranjezicht. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported that he had apprehended the suspect. Upon further investigation it was found that the padlock of the garage door had been broken. SAPS were despatch for further investigation.

Common Theft/ Arrest -None Client @ 03:30 on 17/06/2022 CBAR officer reported that while filling up the vehicle at the Orange Service Station he noticed a male at the fuel station with a new mountain bike. When he approached and question the male regarding the bike, he could not get a satisfactory answer and requested the male to accompany him where he got the bike. Upon further investigation it was found that the bike was stolen in Roodehek Street. SAPS were despatch for further investigation
