Theft, Kreupelhout Avenue, Devils Peak @ 07:49 on the 28 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received burglar alarms from a premises. When calling, it was confirmed there had been an intruder on the premises who had stolen towels from the balcony. The suspect fled the scene via a neighbour's premises when spotted but was apprehended by AR and DPV in Derry Street. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Robbery, Orange Street, Cape Town @ 13:37 on the 28 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported four males had robbed ATM users and then driven off. The victims had also departed. A staff member who had witnessed the incident was unwilling to share any information.

Housebreak In & Theft, Belle Ombre Road, Tamboerskloof @ 17:46 on the 1 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received burglar alarms from a premises. When calling, it was confirmed the premises had been burgled and the alarm had not been armed at the time. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access to the premises was gained via the side roller gate which the client forgot to close properly after putting the bins out earlier that morning. The front safety gate had not been locked and the front door was also unable to lock. Suspects forced open the front door and stole a rain coat, wallet containing cash and cards and a tablet. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Alexandra Avenue, Oranjezicht @ 00:42 on the 2 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a handbag had been stolen. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the client had left her vehicle unattended for a few minutes. When returning she found her handbag containing a Samsung S4 cell phone, cash, bank and credit cards gone. She confirmed the vehicle had not been locked. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Robbery, Derry Street, Vredehoek @ 17:58 on the 3 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a member of the public had been robbed. Two males on a red scooter had stopped the victim and asked for directions. While assisting them, they had grabbed her handbag and ridden off. DPV and SAPS were informed.
