CBAR SMS Notifications - January 2020
Dear Valued CBAR Client,
Load shedding has continued to disrupt our SMS service as CBAR is reliant on 3rd party Network service providers sending out SMS notifications. This adversely affects service levels to clients.
Due to these SMS’s being received late or not at all, CBAR has decided to only send out the following SMS’s; AC Fail & Low Battery. (Please contact our technical department on a low battery signal).
Kindly note that our Central Monitoring Centre will always contact a client telephonically on all burglary and panic signals as usual, the SMS served merely as a duplicate of these phone calls.
CBAR clients may contact our technical department for any assistance in this regard, including App based solutions. For those clients who contract private technicians, please ensure your alarm is programmed to send the correct signals to our monitoring centre.
This will be effective from 20 January 2020.
