News Flash - December 2014

Dear Valued Clients,

Incredibly it’s December! Maybe with age the years seem to pass quicker than they used to. 2014 has absolutely flown by and before we blink, it will be Christmas and into 2015.

At CBAR, we have achieved most of our logistical and infrastructural targets.  The upgrading of technology and upgraded software in our monitoring centre, so as to maintain the levels of service that we are so proud of.  Putting more staff on the road to ensure faster response times, if that is possible, as I’m sure that many of you who have experienced our service, are aware of just how quick we get to you in a time of need.

The City Centre and surrounding residential areas are jam packed with tourists and one only has to drive through the centre of town to experience the congestion and throngs of people on the street.  The end of the year excitement is actually tangible.

It is at this time, that amidst holiday plans, closing businesses and other year end commitments, a concerted effort must be made to ensure that yourselves and your belongings will be safe over this period.  Extra care should be taken on the road, because for some unknown reason, which we can’t even blame on the weather, the skills of many drivers seem to deteriorate the closer to the end of the year we get.  So be careful and arrive safely on the roads.

Ensure that, as discussed in our previous newsletters, (see our website www.cbar.co.za) that securing your property forms part of your holiday plans, especially in your absence. In my 22 years in this industry, I have yet to not experience clients phoning in on the 23rd / 24th December complaining that their alarm is non-functional and they need a technician immediately, as they leaving to go on holiday.

Hopefully, with all the notifications we have sent out, you will have your alarm tested/serviced timeously to avoid such situations from occurring.
