Week 31: 25th July 2025 to 1st August 2025

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Roodehek Street, Gardens @ 11:06 on the 26th July 2025. Our monitoring centre received a request for assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a car guard that had broken into a vehicle earlier that week and stolen jewelry had been spotted wearing it. The AR detained the suspect and SAPS were dispatched. Upon the arrival of SAPS, the owner did not want to open a case anymore. The suspect however, was taken by SAPS to the police station for profiling.

Common Theft, Brownlow Road, Tamboerskloof @ 02:17 on the 28th July 2025. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a break in. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a suspect had been apprehended for attempting to steal the front door handle of a premises. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.
