Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Military Road, Tamboerskloof @ 02:18 on the 21st June 2025. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a vehicle alarm had activated and a person was seen running down the road with something in their hands. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the back left window of a white Toyota Hilux was broken. There was still a lot of items in the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was traced and confirmed the following items were missing – a pair of boxing gloves, a black leather jacket and clothing. There was no need for SAPS as the owner would report the incident.

Common Theft, Kloof Street, Gardens @ 23:31 on the 23rd June 2025. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported an elderly lady was caught shop lifting. She then tried to pay for the items with a stolen bank card. SAPS were in attendance and the lady was detained for shop lifting and being in possession of suspected stolen property.

Common Theft, Frank Avenue, Vredehoek @ 12:48 on the 24th June 2025. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a theft that had occurred. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported that as per the client, the incident happened earlier that morning but it was only discovered at a later stage. It appeared that a suspect had climbed over the neighbouring property’s wall/fence into the client’s property. The suspect then walked to a security gate and stuck their arms through it and stole tools from a tool box that was on the inside of the gate. SAPS were informed.

Attempted Break-In, Flower Street, Oranjezicht @ 14:21 on the 24th June 2025. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance as a security officer had apprehended a suspect. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the security guard had caught the suspect trying to open a security gate with a set of pliers. No entry was gained. SAPS were in attendance and took the suspect into custody for processing.
