Housebreak In & Theft, Derry Street, Vredehoek @ 07:56 on the 08th June 2025. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a break in at a premises. No alarm signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported when staff arrived for duty, they found the premises burgled. As per CCTV footage, a suspect was seen forcing the side window open and then hanging through the window without climbing in, stealing two card swipe machines and two I-Pads from the shelf next to the window. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft and Arrest, Van Ryneveld Road, Devils Peak @ 02:00 on the 11th June 2025. Our monitoring centre received a camera alert of a male carrying a large bag. The camera response vehicle was dispatched to investigate. On the arrival of the AR, the officer exited the vehicle looking for the said male but could not find him. The suspicious male then jumped from behind a vehicle with the bag in hand and started running. The officer with the aid of the other officers gave chase and the suspect dropped the large bag. The suspect tried to evade the officers by lying on the ground but he was spotted. The suspect was apprehended and taken back to where the bag was dropped. It was unsure as to where the bag was stolen from. SAPS were in attendance and arrested the suspect on charges of possession of suspected stolen property as the bag contained a new gazebo.

Trespassing and arrest. Cambridge Avenue, Tamboerskloof. @ 03H12 on the 13th June 2025. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. Client confirmed a displaced person attempted to open his window, then fled. The suspect was pushing a trolley down the road towards Burgundy Road. The client states the suspect is wearing a red jacket. The armed response was dispatched, and managed to locate the said suspect. He was taken back to the premises where he was identified. The client stated that S.A.P.S must attend. Once the S.A.P.S arrived, the client stated that he does not want to open a case. The S.A.P.S took the suspect to the station for profiling.
