Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Wandel Street, Gardens @ 20:06 on the 18th January 2025. Our monitoring centre received a camera alert showing an individual breaking a window of a vehicle parked in the street. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported no suspect could be located. The owner stated that only an empty bag had been stolen and all the other goods were left behind in the vehicle. The owner did not want to open a case. The AR continued to patrol the area looking for the suspect but he could not be located.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Malan Street, Gardens @ 07:53 on the 20th January 2025. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that while conducting a routine patrol he came across a vehicle that had been broken into. The owner of the Toyota Etios stated this was the third break in within the last two months. He did not state what was taken from the vehicle and declined SAPS.

Common Theft, Tamboerskloof Road, Tamboerskloof @ 14:26 on the 20th January 2025. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a suspect had entered the premises and stole a wallet and cell phone. The suspect was seen and then chased and caught and all the stolen items were recovered. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Attempted Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Bennington Road, Tamboerskloof @ 22:53 on the 20th January 2025. Our monitoring centre received a request for assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival apprehended a suspect. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken to the police station for processing.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Kuyper Street, Zonnebloem @ 08:14 on the 21st January 2025. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that while conducting a routine area patrol, he came across a vehicle that had been broken into. The client was on scene and stated that nothing seemed to have been taken and she would go to SAPS and report the incident herself.

Housebreak In & Theft, Albert Road, Woodstock @ 20:29 on the 22 January 2025. Our monitoring centre received an alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the front roller shutter door was open and the front glass door broken. The suspect managed to open the roller shutter door but the client was unsure as to how as a remote was needed to open it. The power had also been switched off. It seemed as if nothing had been stolen but the client stated she would confirm in the morning if anything was missing. The client stated she would go directly to SAPS to open a case.

Armed Robbery, Carstens Street, Tamboerskloof @ 15:34 on the 23rd January 2025. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a male had stabbed an elderly female in the arm before robbing her of her belongings. A patrol was done of the area but the said suspect could not be located. A first aider on scene treated the victim and SAPS were in attendance.
