Attempted House Break In & Theft, Kitchener Road, Woodstock @ 02:17 on the 9th December 2024. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. The client stated all was in order but a short while later called in to report that he could see on his CCTV cameras that there were two suspects dressed in reflective clothing trying to break into his premises. AR was dispatched but the suspects ran away when the client activated the alarm. There was no need for SAPS as no entry was gained.

Theft, Hopeville Street, Gardens @ 11:19 on the 11th December 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting three suspects had jumped over the front wall of a premises and then entered via an open door and stole a laptop before fleeing. No description of the suspects could be given and there was no need for SAPS as the client would report the incident themselves.

Motor Vehicle Break In, Camp Street, Gardens @ 01:44 on the 12th December 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a loud noise. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a white Renault Cleo had been broken into and a suspect was apprehended inside the vehicle. SAPS were in attendance and the suspect was taken into custody even though the owner did not want to give a statement.

Malicious Damage to Property, Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock @ 22:58 on the 12th December 2024. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the on-site security had apprehended a male for breaking the water pipes off the outside of the building. SAPS were in attendance but did not arrest him as he made a statement saying that he will pay for the damages. The client agreed with this.

Trespassing, Highfield Street, Green Point @ 03:56 on the 12th December 2024. Our monitoring centre received an alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival found a male and female wondering around at the premises. The AR detained the couple and the client was contacted. The client arrived and stated that he was not going to open a case and the couple was removed from the premises. There was no forced entry or damage to the property and SAPS were not required.
