Trespassing, Milan Street, Zonnebloem @ 06:00 on the 2 November 2024. Our monitoring centre received an alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival found two males inside the premises who claimed they were residing there. The client was contacted to confirm and he stated that the premises should be vacant. The tenant that had resided there previously had sublet a room to the two males without the consent of the owner. The client requested the AR to get the two males to leave and to remove the keys from them. There was no need for SAPS as the males packed up and left.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Upper Mill Street, Vredehoek @ 18:25 on the 3 November 2024. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that while doing a routine patrol, a group of five males were seen standing near a white Opel Corsa van. When the group noticed the armed response, they all scattered in different directions. One of the males who was carrying a large red box ran to an informal settlement. The AR followed and found the suspect with the red box which was actually a tool box that had been stolen from the Corsa vehicle. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Attempted House Break In, Hildene Road, Tamboerskloof @ 11:58 on the 6th November 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a male was trying to break into a garage in the road. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the garage door was damaged but no entry had been gained. A patrol of the area was conducted for the suspect male. There was no need for SAPS as the client would report the incident himself.

Trespassing and Attempted Robbery, Leeukloof Drive, Tamboerskloof @ 13:31 on the 6th November 2024. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that a resident had informed him that while inside her house she was accosted by a knife wielding male. The male chased her and she ran outside onto the balcony and screamed for help. The gardener heard and went to investigate. The suspect male then fled down the stairs and ran into the back of the property and jumped over the back wall and disappeared. No injuries were sustained. There was no forced entry into the house. CCTV footage showed the suspect walking into the house through an open door. SAPS were in attendance.

House Break In & Theft, Vriende Street, Gardens @ 09:57 on the 6th November 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via the back kitchen window as the burglar bars had been forced open. Items stolen were sugar, milk, coffee and firelighters from a cupboard. SAPS were in attendance.
