Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Forest Hill Avenue, Oranjezicht @ 04:04 on the 19th October 2024. Our monitoring centre received a camera alert about a suspect gaining access into a vehicle parked in the road. AR was dispatched and on arrival apprehended the suspect inside a white VW Polo. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Fire, Buitenkant Street, Cape Town @ 12:08 on the 21st October 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there was a fire on the property. Emergency Services were dispatched and the fire was extinguished. The Fire Department stated it seemed the fire had started in the chimney due to not enough ventilation. As per the client, not too much damage was caused.

Theft, Hope Street, Gardens @ 19:09 on the 21st October 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a suspect had climbed through a window and stolen a laptop. There were no signs of forced entry. The client stated he would report the incident to SAPS.

Theft, Sylvan Close, Oranjezicht @ 19:14 on the 21st October 2024. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the client, someone had been on the property and stolen a tap. A search of the premises and surrounding area was conducted but no one was found. The client declined SAPS.

Theft, Buitenkant Street, Cape Town @ 21:07 on the 21st October 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a cellphone had been stolen. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported while the patrons were having their meal a suspect ran in and grabbed a cellphone and then ran off. Some patrons chased and caught him. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

House Break In & Theft, Rosemount Avenue, Oranjezicht @ 17:33 on the 24th October 2024. Our monitoring centre received a power failure signal from a premises and the AR was dispatched to investigate. On arrival the AR met a person on the property stating that he resides there. The client was contacted to confirm. Whilst the client was phoned the AR did a check of the property and found a door on an outside room damaged. The client confirmed that nobody should be there. The said male was detained by the AR and SAPS were requested as the client is overseas. SAPS arrived and charged the male for house breaking and trespassing as the latch on the outside door was broken.
