Robbery, Albert Road, Tamboerskloof @ 08:15 on the 13th September 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call stating someone had been robbed. AR was dispatched and on arrival found a young woman who had her cell phone stolen from her. She said two males with a long knife robbed her and the phone which was an I-Phone could be tracked. Her friend used her phone to track the stolen phone. The AR, along with the lady, followed the signal and they were led to Cape Town Station. There, the lady spotted the males that had robbed her and when they saw the AR they dropped the phone and fled. The armed response located the phone and handed it back to the lady. SAPS were declined as the phone had been retrieved.

Theft of Motor Vehicle, Plantation Road, Devils Peak @ 04:46 on the 14th September 2024. Our monitoring centre received a report that three males driving a white VW Polo had stolen a Silver VW Polo. SAPS were in attendance.

Malicious Damage to Property, Chelsea Avenue, Vredehoek @ 00:00 on the 16th September 2024. Our monitoring centre received a call stating a theft out of a motor vehicle had occurred. AR was dispatched and on arrival found a silver VW Polo that had a window broken. There were no suspects near the vehicle at that time and the owner of the vehicle could not be located. SAPS were informed.

Malicious Damage to Property, Hope Street, Gardens @ 05:05 on the 18th September 2024. Our monitoring centre received an alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the wooden fence had been damaged. No forced entry could be seen into the premises. The client confirmed no entry was gained and nothing was stolen. SAPS were informed.

Warrant of Arrest, Bellevue Street, Gardens @ 18:58 on the 18th September 2024. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival met with the client and one other male and female on the property. The client stated the female was there about a month ago and had stolen her bank card and used R6000 from her account and wanted her arrested. SAPS were dispatched but stated no case was opened at that time so no arrest could take place. The client’s neighbour had a point out notice from SAPS for the same female that was on the property. The point out notice was for a laptop that was stolen from her premises some time ago. SAPS then arrested the female according to the notice that they were handed. The male that had accompanied the female was told to leave the premises.
