Week 34: 16 August 2024 to 23 August 2024

House Break In & Theft, Waterkant Street, De Waterkant @ 07:01 on the 16th August 2024. Our monitoring centre received an alarm activation from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. The suspects had forced open a front window to gain access. Clothing, bags and shoes were taken before they fled off in a white vehicle. SAPS were in attendance.

Trespassing, Glencoe Road, Higgovale @ 20:51 on the 22nd August 2024. Our monitoring centre received a camera alert of a person jumping over the perimeter wall of a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival checked the premises. No suspect was found and a search of the area was conducted. The suspect was then found hiding inside a garbage bin. SAPS were informed and arrived to detain the suspect for further investigation.
