Week 12: 15 March 2024 to 22 March 2024

House Break-in & Theft, Cambridge Street, Walmer Estate. On 15 March 2024 at 00h12 an alarm activation was received by our monitoring centre.Armed Response was dispatched and on arrival reported a break-in through the roof and requested back up as he heard noises. Second armed response vehicle was dispatched to assist. Client was informed. S.A.P.S was dispatched and arrived on scene. Client cannot verified and confirmed if anything was stolen at the time.

House Break-in & Theft, Belle Ombre Road, Tamboerskloof. On 15 March 2024 at 01h32 an alarm activation was received by our monitoring centre. Armed Response was dispatched and on his arrival reported a positive burglary. Suspect removed a window pane at the office area to gained access. Backup armed response was dispatched to assist.Upon checking the premises a suspect was apprehended inside the premises with a school bag containing various items belonging to the premises. SAPS was summonsed and upon arrival arrested the suspect.

Theft out of Motor Vehicle, Glen Cresent, Gardens. On 16 March 2024 at 17h30 Our monitring centre received a phone-in response from a client stating that her vehicle had been broken into. Client stated a school bag was stolen from the vehicle. S.A.P.S was informed.

Common Robbery. Maynard Street. On 21 March 2024 at 10h07 our monitoring centre received a phone-in response from a client stating someone had been robbed in the street. Armed response was despatched and on arrival met the keyholder who informed the officer that a lady had her necklace stolen from her neck and gave description of the suspect. The armed response officer immediately alerted all Operational vehicles and searched area and located the suspect. Suspect was detained by the armed response officer and the S.A.P.S were informed. Constable Abrahams arrived and took suspect into custody. Lady that was robbed went to the S.A.P.S station to open a case.
