Armed Robbery, Peppertree Road, Vredehoek @ 00:35 on the 1st January 2022. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting there had been an armed robbery. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported five male suspects, one with a firearm, had entered the property after cutting a hole in the fence. The occupants of the house were forced into the kitchen where their jewellery and cell phones were confiscated and the suspects wanted to know where the safe was. The suspects then fled off in the direction of the mountain. SAPS were in attendance.

Housebreak In & Theft, Sophia Street, Oranjezicht @ 13:49 on the 3rd January 2022. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarm signals from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. The safety gate and front door were forced open with a crow bar and a television was taken. SAPS were in attendance.

Housebreak In & Theft, Virginina Avenue, Vredehoek @ 08:13 on the 4th January 2022. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting the premises had been burgled at the week end. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via a side window into the garage and power tools were taken. SAPS had already been in attendance.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Vriende Street, Gardens @ 22:42 on the 6th January 2022. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting someone trying to break into a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a male suspect wearing black clothing was seen shining a torch into the garage. The suspect then tried to force the garage door open. The key holders could not be reached and SMS notifications were sent to alert them. AR was instructed to do patrols. At 05:56 AR met up with a key holder and the premises was checked. There was no need for SAPS as no entry was gained.
