Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Kloofnek Road, Tamboerskloof @ 06:48 on the 10th December 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a garage had been broken into. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the suspect tried to force open the garage but was unsuccessful and nothing was taken.

Armed Robbery, Frank Avenue, Highlands Estate @ 22:25 on the 11th December 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call that there had been a robbery. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the client had been tied up by four armed men. The male suspects had taken the client’s firearm – a .38 revolver, vehicle keys, lap top, cell phone and wallet. There were no injuries and SAPS were in attendance.

Housebreak In & Theft, Pinoak Road, Devils Peak @ 04:19 on the 12th December 2021. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar and panic alarm signals from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the garage door had been forced open. As per the client there had been an intruder on the premises. Upon investigation it was found that a mountain bicycle was taken. SAPS were in attendance.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the safety gate and front door had been forced open. Suspects had taken a 48” Plasma television and an Apple lap top. SAPS were in attendance.

Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a male was harassing the public and threatening to shoot. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the suspect had been apprehended. SAPS were dispatched and he was taken into custody.

Housebreak In & Theft, Upper Canterbury Street, Gardens @ 08:44 on the 16th December 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. The alarm had activated at 04:17 and the AR reported a front check only. The client was informed thereof. The alarm activated again at 05:24 and the client had confirmed all was in order after checking the cameras. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via the back of the premises. The glass door had been smashed with a brick and items taken were a DVD player, sound system, computer monitor, camera and telephone. The client declined SAPS.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Belle Ombre Road, Tamboerskloof @ 13:07 on the 16th December 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting suspects had tried to gain access to the premises but ran off. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported three suspects had damaged the burglar gate and front door but did not enter. SAPS were informed and AR was asked to be on the lookout as a full description was given.

Housebreak In & Theft, Hope Street, Gardens @ 01:37 on the 17th December 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the tenant had woken up when she had heard an intruder inside the flat. She had fought with the intruder, pushing him down the stairs where he dropped a bag of stolen items. The suspect managed to flee via a window taking a wi fi router and broken cell phone. Access was gained via the unlocked front door. SAPS were informed but failed to arrive. The tenant stated she would report the incident herself.
