Housebreak In & Theft, Rugley Road, Vredehoek @ 20:20 on the 9th October 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. No alarm signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had three levels. Suspects tried to gain access to the first level but failed. A door to the second level was forced open and a laptop and handbag were taken and a television was taken from the third level. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Attempted Shoplifting, Buitenkant Street, Gardens @ 22:02 on the 12th October 2021. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival requested SAPS as a female suspect had been apprehended for shoplifting. The 60 year old suspect who resides in Bo Kaap was seen taking groceries. When she wanted to leave the store she was stopped by the staff. SAPS advised the store owner to let the suspect go as she did not exit the store with the stolen items.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the front door and safety gate had been forced open to gain access. Items taken were a laptop and bag, hard drive, television, clothing and shoes. The resident had been away for the evening and a neighbour had noticed the damage to the door. SAPS were in attendance.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises may have been burgled as the safety gate and front door were standing open. The client’s domestic worker arrived at the premises and confirmed a computer and three watches had been taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported two males had tried to gain entry to the premises via the front gate but could not access it. The suspects then drove off in a Silver Polo.

There were no signals as the alarm had been disarmed. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the security gate had been forced open and a television, tablet, watch, camera, laptop and bag, a kettle and cell phone were taken. SAPS were in attendance.

Trespassing, Leeukloof Drive, Tamboerskloof @ 16:13 on the 13th October 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting there had been a male intruder on the premises. The intruder who seemed to be under the influence had climbed over the wall from the vacant plot neighbouring the premises. The intruder had looked around and then climbed out again. A description was given and AR was asked to be on the look-out when patrolling the area.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the back gate and sliding door were damaged but no access was gained. There was no need for SAPS but AR was asked to do patrols.

Armed Robbery, Caxton Road, Woodstock @ 06:21 on the 14th October 2021. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been robbed. Suspects had entered the premises and held the on-site security officer and a staff member at gunpoint before tying them up with cable ties. The suspects proceeded to the 3rd and 4th floors where they took a total of nine laptops before fleeing. SAPS were in attendance.
