Week 38: 17 September 2021 to 23 September 2021

Housebreak In & Theft, Francis Street, Woodstock @ 11:15 on the 20^th September 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported two back windows had been removed. No burglar alarm signals were received from the premises. It was suspected the break in may have occurred some time at the week end. The client was unable to confirm what was taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft / Arrest, Varsity Road, Tamboerskloof @ 13:31 on the 21^st September 2021. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic and burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported an attempted break in and a suspect had been apprehended. The premises was under renovation and when the alarm activated, the client went to investigate and caught the suspect in the bathroom. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.
