AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the cables leading from the outside electrical pole to the office building had been cut but no access was gained into the property.

Housebreak In & Theft, Martin Hammerschlag Way, Foreshore @ 13:19 on the 9th August 2021. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported after doing an all-round check, he found some broken windows and on the right hand side there was a safety gate of which the bars had been bent but was still locked. The client confirmed as per the camera footage, suspects had entered the premises and taken items from the welding station. There was no need for SAPS as the client would open a case the following day.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a back window was broken but could not confirm if access had been gained into the property. The key holders were contacted but stated they were not coming out and would follow up during the day.

Housebreak In & Theft, Woodside Road, Tamboerskloof @ 14:50 on the 10th August 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported suspects had jumped over the wall and broken the back glass door to gain access into the property. A laptop, jewellery and cell phones were taken. The alarm had not been armed. SAPS were informed.

Trespassing, Albert Road, Woodstock @ 00:36 on the 11th August 2021. Our monitoring centre received a burglar alarm from the outside beam of a premises. AR was dispatched and the client was informed. The client confirmed as per the camera footage a person was seen on the premises. On arrival AR reported a female suspect was on the property. SAPS were dispatched and they confirmed the suspect was a mentally disabled female. The client stated he would not be opening a case but he would submit a statement.

Attempted Assault / Malicious Damage to Property, Kloofnek Road, Tamboerskloof @ 19:06 on the 11th August 2021. Our monitoring centre received a burglar alarm from a premises. When calling, the client requested AR as someone was harassing a customer. AR was dispatched and on arrival requested SAPS as a male Rastafarian had approached a female customer asking for money. When she stated she did not have any, he pulled out knife threatening her. She managed to get into her vehicle without being injured. However, the suspect then went to the rear of her vehicle and started piercing holes into the back window sun shade visor of the Jeep. SAPS failed to arrive and the lady drove to the police station with AR acting as an escort.
