Housebreak In & Theft, Cnr Ashgrove & Chelmsford Road, Vredehoek @ 07:31 on the 31st July 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been broken into the previous evening. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported suspect/s had come from the mountain side and jumped over the boundary wall and gate before forcing the front door open. The premises had no alarm system. A television and two lap tops were taken. SAPS were in attendance.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle / Arrest, Breda Street, Gardens @ 04:29 on the 1st August 2021. Our monitoring centre received a phone in alarm reporting someone had climbed into a parked silver Audi A1 and spent some time in it before climbing out. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the passenger door of an Audi hatchback was unlocked and the back seat had been lowered – most likely to retrieve items from the boot. It was stated the owner generally left the doors unlocked of his vehicle. At 04:54 a phone in alarm was received stating the suspect had returned to the vehicle. AR was dispatched and on arrival apprehended the suspect inside the vehicle. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody. The owner confirmed a cap and sunglasses were taken. It was later established there were two suspects – the first who took the items and the second one who was caught.

Trespassing, Duke Street, Woodstock @ 22:54 on the 1st August 2021. Our monitoring centre received burglar alarm signals from the front beams of a premises. AR was dispatched. The neighbour called in reporting someone was seen jumping over the wall onto the property and that the premises was vacant as the owner had moved out. On arrival AR reported a suspect was apprehended with a 20L drum of paint who claimed he was allowed to be there as he generally cleaned the bins. Upon reaching the client, he stated he had moved out and no one was supposed be on the premises. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Trespassing, Clairewood Avenue, Highlands Estate @ 03:27 on the 4th August 2021. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting AR. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported two male suspects had jumped over the fence onto the property and then back over again running toward the mountain.

Trespassing, Albert Road, Woodstock @ 01:06 on the 6th August 2021. Our monitoring centre received a burglar alarm from the outside beam of a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported only a front check could be done of which the client was informed. At 01:32 the outside beam activated again and the client stated there were two suspects on the property. AR was dispatched and on arrival apprehended a female suspect. SAPS were dispatched but the suspect was released as the client declined making a case when SAPS stated the female was mentally ill and was well known by them.
