Week 47: 13 November 2020 to 20 November 2020

Theft of Motor Vehicle, Strathcona Road, Oranjezicht @ 08:58 on the 14th November 2020. Our monitoring received a call reporting a white Mitsubishi Pajero had been stolen. AR and SAPS were dispatched. AR reported a neighbour gave chase and the suspect was cornered on the Liesbeeck River parkway off ramp. Suspect then abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.

Common Theft, Pypies Square, Devils Peak @ 08:04 on the 16th November 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a mountain bicycle had been stolen during the night. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the bicycle was taken from the yard. The alarm had been armed but no signals were received. SAPS were in attendance.
