Housebreak In & Theft, Rugley Road, Vredehoek @ 04:33 on the 28th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting AR as there had been a break in. No alarm signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access onto the property was gained via the motor gate being removed from the rail. The suspect/s entered the open garage and took a pair of sun glasses from the unlocked vehicle parked in the garage. There was no need for SAPS.

Housebreak In & Theft, Kloof Street, Gardens @ 07:58 on the 29th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received an afterhours opening from a premises. When calling there was no reply. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported when staff arrived for duty they found the premises had been burgled. An upstairs window was broken and bottles of wine were taken. No alarm signals were received. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Forest Hill Avenue, Oranjezicht @ 15:29 on the 30th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a burglary alarm from a premises. When calling, the client stated there had been a break in. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a glass door at the back of the construction site where expensive electrical tools were stored was broken. However, nothing was taken and a guard was posted at the premises. SAPS were informed.

Common Theft, Cnr Buitengracht & Church Street, Bo-Kaap @ 00:47 on the 31st August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported that two suspects had entered the premises and stole a music box and a cooldrink. One suspect was apprehended by the armed response officer and the second suspect fled the scene with the goods. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was handed over. However, SAPS then released the suspect as there was no evidence to connect him to the incident.
