Housebreak In & Theft, Albert Road, Woodstock @ 15:34 on the 2nd August 2020. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled and a suspect apprehended. A male wearing a security uniform had informed the on-site security that he was the reliever for the evening shift. The on-site security then opened the roller shutter door and a vehicle with three passengers entered the premises. The three suspects were armed and the on-site security officer was tied up. The suspects went to the back of the property and took a PC tower and a suitcase containing DVDs as well as other items. The suspects fled off in their vehicle leaving the fraudulent security officer behind. He ran off but was caught by members of the public who took him back to the crime scene. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Assault, Cnr Kloof Nek and Kloof Street, Tamboerskloof @ 20:04 on the 2nd August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call from a public member reporting a male had been injured. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a 20 year old male had been stabbed in the stomach. Emergency Services and SAPS were in attendance.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Blinde Street, Zonnebloem @ 21:43 on the 2nd August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a break in at a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported suspects had attempted to gain access via the side garage door but failed and fled the scene. No alarm signals were received.

Housebreak In & Theft, Constantia Road, Gardens @ 00:22 on the 4th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the garage door was standing open. The client confirmed three bicycles had been taken. The client would report the incident to SAPS himself.

Housebreak In & Theft, Maynard Street, Gardens @ 12:47 on the 4th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call from a client reporting his premises had been burgled. He was currently away and his brother who was at the premises had informed him as the client had asked him to check after an alarm activation was received. The alarm had activated at 12:04 and AR reported a front perimeter check due to high walls and a right hand side check which was relayed to the client. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the kitchen window had been forced open and the burglar bars pushed back. As per the client’s brother, when he arrived at the premises, he had found a male in the yard who said it was not him who broke in and he was let go. Client arrived much later and could not confirm what had been taken. SAPS were in attendance.

Housebreak In & Theft, Clifford Avenue, Highlands Estate @ 16:26 on the 4th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting there had been a break in. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via a staircase at the side of the property and suspect entered through an open front door. Electronic equipment, handbags and gardening tools were taken. SAPS had already been in attendance.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Prince Street, Gardens @ 23:43 on the 4th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting AR as two males with backpacks had tried to break into a garage. AR was dispatched and made contact with the client. At 00:16 the neighbourhood watch reported they had apprehended two suspects. SAPS were dispatched and the suspects were taken into custody.

Theft, Clifford Avenue, Highlands Estate @ 08:30 on the 6th August 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call from a client reporting that the previous evening his dog had barked incessantly and when he let the dog out, it had run toward the tool shed. The following morning he found some of his tools were missing. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the shed which was on the side of the house by the pool had no door. A drill, gazebo and two small tents were taken. SAPS were informed but later cancelled as client did not want to report the incident.
