Common Theft, Devonport Road, Tamboerskloof @ 20:13 on the 5th July 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call from a client reporting that when arriving home it was found that x2 19kg gas bottles were missing from the property.

Housebreak In & Theft, Higgo Road, Higgovale @ 20:33 on the 7th July 2020. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and when calling, the client confirmed he had been robbed by three males. On arrival AR reported suspects had gained access from the back of the premises on the mountain side and jumped over the wall. They then entered via an open sliding door and held the client (a 73 year old male) down with an ice pick. Items taken were a 55” Samsung television and a laptop and charger. The suspects fled back into the mountain. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft, Cnr Chelsea & Vredehoek Avenue, Vredehoek @ 08:15 on the 8th July 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a suspicious person with a brand new bicycle in Rugley Road. AR was dispatched and apprehended the suspect on the corner of Chelsea & Vredehoek Avenue. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Hiddingh Avenue, Gardens @ 01:23 on the 9th July 2020. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting someone was trying to steal a vehicle. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the property had been accessed via the fence. The suspect had cut a hole in it. The passenger side window of a Toyota Venture had been smashed. Some tools, the battery and a vehicle tarpaulin were taken. There was no need for SAPS as the client would report the incident.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Upper Buitenkant Street, Gardens @ 10:58 on the 9th July 2020. Our monitoring centre received a report that someone had smashed the window of a green Mini Cooper and stolen a jacket. SAPS were informed but the tenant he was going to SAPS to report the incident himself.
