Malicious Damage to Property, Belladonna Avenue, Devils Peak @ 15:09 on the 11th October 2019. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting SAPS. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the electric fence had been damaged on the boundary wall but there were no signs of forced entry as no access was gained. Client suspected the builders at a neighbouring premises. SAPS were in attendance.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. Access was gained via a back window and the client could not establish what was taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Belmont Avenue, Oranjezicht @ 11:49 on the 12th October 2019. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a lap top was missing. Multiple alarm signals had activated earlier and the AR made contact with the client’s daughter on the premises who confirmed everything was in order. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the front door had been open and client had seen someone. Client stated there was no need for SAPS as they would report the incident.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Cnr Maynard Street & Vredehoek Avenue, Gardens @ 19:00 on the 14th October 2019. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that while patrolling they found a grey Hyundai vehicle had been broken into. Two suspects were apprehended for stealing a gym bag. SAPS were dispatched and the suspects were taken into custody.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Erica Street Woodstock @ 02:58 on the 17th October 2019. Our monitoring centre received a phone in panic alarm. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a vehicle parked on the street outside the premises had been broken into. SAPS were in attendance.

Trespassing, Jarvis Street, Waterkant @ 03:36 on the 18th October 2019. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there was someone inside the premises. AR apprehended the naked male suspect who stated that he was a patron from the neighbouring premises. The suspect claimed he had been sexually assaulted and had tried to flee using the fire escape doors and went through the wrong door and was unable to go back from where he came from until the correct door was opened for him. The manager from the neighbouring premises confirmed the suspect was a guest booked in at their establishment and unlocked the door for him to exit. The client stated he would not file charges and SAPS gave the suspect a warning before releasing him.
