Attempted Housebreaking: Earth life Building Block A149, Canterbury Street, Gardens @ 21:07 on 20 September 2019. Our officer reported that whilst on his patrol he noticed the front entrance door been forced open and glass laying inside- Keyholder was contacted. No access had been gained to any office unit inside the block. Saps were despatched for further investigation.

Housebreaking & Theft: Goodhope Seminary Junior School, Vredehoek Avenue, Vredehoek @ 21h37 on 20 September 2019. An outside monitoring service provider reported alarm activation at the tuck-shop. Armed response was despatched and on arrival noticed two suspects on premises. Armed response apprehended one of the suspects and the second suspect fled the scene. The keyholder was summonsed who identify the suspect as a learner at the school. Keyholder declined Saps and will address the incident with the learner’s parents.

Theft out of Motor vehicle: Eldorado Body Corporate, Military Road, Tamboerskloof @ 03:29 on 23 September 2019. Our monitoring centre received a phone-in from a resident stating that a vehicle had been broken into. Armed response was despatched and on arrival reported that a side window of a Maroon Honda Ballade registration no CA 628-258 had been broken into and a radio tape had been removed. Saps were despatched for further investigation.

Assault /Grievance Body Harm- Lion Street, Bo-Kaap @ 22:02 on 24 September 2019. Our monitoring centre received a panic activation from premises. Armed response was despatched and on arrival requested backup. On further investigation the officer found the caretaker on premises with a stabbed wound to his hand. It was aledge that unknown suspects enter the premises and was surprised by the caretaker. The suspect stabbed the caretaker before fleeing from the premises. An ambulance was summonsed who took patient to the hospital. Saps were despatched for further investigation.
