Week 38: 13 September 2019 to 20 September 2019

Malicious Damage to Property - Kloof Street Gardens: @ 00:12 on 14^th September 2019.Our monitoring centre received an alarm activation from premises. Armed response was despatched and on arrival met keyholder on site who reported that an unknown male suspect had damaged the door of the property in an attempt to enter, however when the keyholder shouted at the intruder he ran away. Nothing had been stolen. Saps were despatched for further investigation.

Attempted Housebreaking -Aloe Road, Devils peak @ 15h23 on 16^th September 2019. DPVwatch called for assistance as a suspect was caught on our client’s premises trying to get through a bedroom window. Two armed reaction officers was despatched and on arrival apprehended the suspect. Nothing had been stolen. Saps were despatched and on arrival arrested the suspect into custody.

Armed Robbery/ Assault- Bayview Road, Tamboerskloof @ 23h57 on 18^th September 2019. Our monitoring centre received a phone-in request for assistance as a woman was heard screaming at a premises of 2 Rael Street, Tamboerskloof (ADT Client). Two armed reaction vehicles was despatched and on arrival found a lady with a stabbed wound to the head. An unknown suspect entered property from the back and when he was surprised he attacked and stabbed the homeowner. Suspect fled the scene before armed response arrived. Saps and Medical assistance was despatched. Patient was transported to hospital. Saps took over the investigation.
