Housebreak In & Theft and Assault, Cornwall Street, Woodstock @ 17:09 on the 23rd December 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and met up with client. While checking the premises a male suspect was found inside the premises. He tried to escape and the AR gave chase. A fight ensued as the suspect assaulted the officer with a steel pole before jumping from the first floor injuring himself. AR apprehended the suspect. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Housebreak In & Theft, Molteno Road, Oranjezicht @ 18:45 on the 24th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call from the house sitter reporting a premises was burgled and the reason he could not be reached when the alarm had activated the afternoon was that he had lost his cell phone. (AR reported a front and right side perimeter check due to high walls.) AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via the front window. SAPS were in attendance but it could not be established what was taken until the client returned from holiday.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Quarry Hill Road, Tamboerskloof @ 22:20 on the 24th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarm signals from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there were force marks on the kitchen sliding door. When checking the premises with the house sitter it was found that the washing from the clothes line had been placed over an outside beam. Access was gained but nothing was taken. SAPS were in attendance.

Theft, Rocklands Avenue, Highlands Estate @ 14:50 on the 27th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarms from a premises. When calling, client stated there had been an intruder on the premises. The intruder had gained access over the back wall and stole items through the kitchen window before fleeing. It was unclear as to what had been taken.

Robbery, Upper Buitenkant Street, Gardens @ 22:26 on the 27th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that a robbery had been witnessed and was in pursuit of the suspects driving a Mazda 323. SAPS were dispatched. AR stopped the vehicle on the corner of Jutland and Aandbloem Street. Four suspects fled on foot and AR apprehended one suspect who was taken into custody by SAPS.

Housebreak In & Theft, Oaktree Road, Devils Peak @ 00:42 on the 28th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported client had awoken to noise inside the house. Upon investigation it was found there were intruders and client triggered the alarm before locking themselves in the main bedroom. Suspects took a Dell lap top and various other items. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.
