Housebreak In & Theft, Hof Street, Gardens @ 05:54 on the 8th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there were marks on the front door and a small window was open. As per the client, when viewing the camera footage, the cupboards were seen standing open and a cash register was missing. However it was found that only a toolbox was missing, but it could not be established where access had been gained. The client would follow up during the course of the day.

Housebreak In & Theft, Cambridge Street, Walmer Estate @ 15:35 on the 8th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via a front window which was smashed and the burglar bars bent. Only an electric iron was taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Hope Street, Gardens @ 00:11 on the 11th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting that there was broken glass on the side of a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a suspect was seen leaving the scene with a bag. When told to stop, suspect dropped the bag and ran. AR recovered the bag which had a computer monitor inside. Upon investigation it was found that a glass window had been smashed. The burglar bars were still intact and the screen had been pulled through them. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Kuyper Street, Zonnebloem @ 08:28 on the 12th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting that a premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported when the client arrived at the premises the front gate was standing open as well as a window on the right hand side. The garage door at the back of the property was damaged and the safety gate was broken. The house had been ransacked but the client could not confirm what was taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Armed Robbery, Avenue Massif, High Cape @ 14:50 on the 13th December 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR and Medic 1 was dispatched and on arrival reported a female had been held at knife point while being robbed. Suspect took an identity document and R500.00 cash. A struggle ensured and the assailant smashed the victim’s face into the ground before fleeing. SAPS and Emergency Services were in attendance.
