Housebreak In & Theft, Park Road, Gardens @ 08:47 on the 18th August 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled and SAPS had been informed. No alarm signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the tenant had left the previous evening at about 20:00 and upon his return home found the premises broken into. Suspect/s had gained access via the top bathroom window whereby the glass pane had been removed and then exited through the kitchen door. Some items which were packed into bags was left in the passageway. Other items taken were a Panasonic 1250 Linux camera, x5 USB flash drives, x1 Verbatim hard drive, an I-phone, x2 I-phone charges, a 3G Cell C USB modem, x3 rain jackets, x2 soccer shirts, a pair of sunglasses, a sleeping bag and an identity document. The tenant confirmed the alarm was not working and the owner was aware.

Malicious Damage to Property, Lion Street, Bo Kaap @ 03:44 on the 21st August 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting someone was trying to break into a vehicle. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the rear right side window of a silver Toyota Yaris had been broken. Nothing was taken. There was no need for SAPS as the owner would report the incident.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. Access was gained via the front glass door where the aluminium strips and glass pane were removed. Suspects removed a wall mounted television from the lounge area. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

No alarm signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via a balcony window. Items taken were a flat screen television and a Playstation 4. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Jagersfontein Lane, Oranjezicht @ 12:01 on the 23rd August 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a vehicle which was parked on the street had been broken into. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the small window of a white Toyota Rav 4 had been smashed and painting equipment was taken from the vehicle. Suspects also smeared some of the paint on the outside of the vehicle. There was no need for SAPS as the owner would report the incident.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Hof Street, Gardens @ 05:22 on the 24th August 2018. Our monitoring centre received a burglar alarm from a premises. Client requested AR as there was someone in the garden. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per client, they had heard glass breaking before the alarm triggered. Suspect had tried to enter through the garden facing door but fled the scene. SAPS were informed.
