Common Theft, Clifford Avenue, Highlands Estate @ 09:51 on the 1st August 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the camera footage, a male had jumped over the premises wall and taken a water pump from the pool. SAPS were informed and they confirmed a suspect had been apprehended in Maynard Street with the stolen item in his possession.

Assault, Albert Road, Woodstock @ 12:07 on the 1st August 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a male suspect had entered the premises and attacked one of the female cashiers by choking her and threatening to kill her. Staff members managed to overpower him and tie him up until assistance arrived. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.
