Malicious Damage to Property, Kloof Street, Gardens @ 09:12 on the 23rd February 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarm signals from a premises which were set off by the client. When calling, client reported an attempted burglary at the premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the front door had chip marks. No alarm signals had been received. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Our monitoring centre received a call reporting  there were holes in a top floor window of a premises which were described as bullet holes. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported it was the same chip marks as per another client. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Common Theft, Leeukop Street, Tamboerskloof  @ 18:22 on the 25th February 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting  a hand bag had been stolen. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a hand bag had been taken from the kitchen containing personal items as well cash and bank cards. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Ravenscraig Road, Woodstock @ 07:05 on the 26th February 2018. Our monitoring centre received a phone in alarm reporting a premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access had been gained via the side of the building through a window which had been smashed after bending the steel mesh covering. A flat screen television, three laptops and ten hard drives were taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Trespassing, Bouquet Street, Cape Town @ 15:12 on the 1 March 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a 25 year old male had jumped over the wall into the courtyard. He had then broken a window to gain access to the premises but cut himself on the glass. The caretaker of the premises who witnessed the scene apprehended the suspect. SAPS were dispatched but refused to arrest the suspect as he needed medical attention and instructed the caretaker that if he wanted to make a case, he would have to go to SAPS. Emergency Services were dispatched and the patient was taken to Somerset Hospital.
