Theft, Upper Kloof Street, Higgovale @ 17:47 on the 19th January 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting AR. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a male had walked into the premises pretending to work for the neighbours before taking x2 I Phones and then ran down the road. AR searched the area but no one was found. The phones were traced to Salt River. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Armed Robbery, Gladiolus Street, Devils Peak @ 19:25 on the 19th January 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a female had been robbed at gun point by three males while walking to the shop. Suspects had fled in a light blue Peugeot after taking her hand bag containing cash and credit cards. There was no need for SAPS as the victim would report the incident herself.

AR from a third party service provider was dispatched and on arrival reported the back doors had been forced open but nothing was taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Robbery, Breda Street, Gardens @ 20:30 on the 20th January 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a guest had been robbed. Three males had approached a German lady and taken her to an ATM. They took her credit card and fled. The lady could not confirm if money had been withdrawn as her account was not linked to her cell phone. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Wandel Street, Gardens @ 07:54 on the 21st January 2018. Our monitoring centre received a call from a member of the public reporting that there was a window broken at a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the left hand side display window had been smashed whereby access was gained as there were no burglar bars. Money had been taken from the cash register. No signals were received as the alarm had not been armed. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Peppertree Road, Vredehoek @ 03:48 on the 25th January 2018. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises which were set off by the client. When calling, client requested AR as the premises had been burgled by three males. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported SAPS were already in attendance as the burglary had taken place at 03:15. Suspects had used a plastic bag to cover the outside beam at the back wall and then removed the aluminium strips from a window frame before removing the glass pane and entering via the bottom area. Client heard noises and upon investigation saw the panes were removed. She ran back upstairs to grab her cell phone but was followed by a male suspect who threatened her with a screwdriver. Client then handed over her cell phone and an Ipad. Suspects trashed the room and took a laptop and a television before fleeing.
