Housebreak In & Theft, Waterkant Street, De Waterkant @ 01:32 on the 12th June 2017. Our monitoring centre received an alarm signal from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled as the front door was standing open. A suspect was caught running away from the scene with the stolen items in hand by a security guard. No key holders were available. SAPS were dispatched but did not want to arrest the suspect without a statement from the owner. The security officer then made a statement and the suspect was taken into custody. AR placed the three bottles of wine that was taken back inside the premises and secured the doors.

Housebreak In & Theft, Invermark Crescent, Higgovale @ 16:08 on the 12th June 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the client the premises had been burgled. The domestic who had been on the premises at the time of the break in had been tied up. A laptop and watches were taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft, Scott Street, Gardens @ 18:03 on the 12 June 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting there had been an intruder on the premises who had removed the copper piping. Client confirmed the incident would be reported to SAPS.

Armed Robbery, Hope Street, Gardens @ 20:46 on the 12th June 2017. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that a suspect had been apprehended who had robbed a female tourist at knife point of her wallet. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody and the wallet returned to its owner.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Yeoville Road, Vredehoek @ 13:51 on the 14th June 2017. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the client, two men had broken into a white Toyota Rav which was parked in front of the premises. A description was given and AR set out to search the area. The two suspects were later apprehended on the corners of Windburg and Delphinium Street. SAPS were dispatched and they were taken into custody.

Housebreak In & Theft, Higgo Road, Higgovale @ 20:57 on the 14th June 2017. Our monitoring centre received burglar alarm signals from a premises. When calling, the client confirmed the premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access had been gained from the mountain side. The barbed wire and electric fence had been cut. The upstairs study window had been forced open and two watches, an ID book and passport and liquor had been taken. The alarm had activated the afternoon and the client was informed of the continuous activations and that the AR could only do a front check. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.
