Housebreak In & Theft, Belle Ombre Road, Tamboerskloof @ 14:54 on the 3rd March 2017. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported an intruder had gained access via the neighbour’s premises and taken a laptop, ipad and other items. As per client, the suspect had escaped via the back door. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Robbery, Orange Street, Cape Town @ 19:17 on the 4th March 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a customer had been robbed of his bank card when he wanted to pay for his purchases. The suspects fled and AR gave chase. One of the suspects was caught in Beckham Street. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody although the victim did not want to file charges.

Malicious Damage to Property, Vogelgezang Street, Zonnebloem @ 02:30 on the 5th March 2017. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a silver grey C2 Citroen parked in the street had had its windows smashed. The owner was unknown.

Common Theft, Bloem Street, Bo Kaap @ 03:19 on the 5th March 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a cell phone was missing. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there were no signs of forced entry and nothing else seemed to be missing. It was established that the doors and windows had not been secured. SAPS were in attendance.

Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a vehicle had been broken into during the early hours of the morning and a jacket and car radio was taken. The vehicle had been unlocked. The incident had already been reported to SAPS.

Armed Robbery, Ella Street, Bo Kaap @ 04:10 on the 6th March 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance as a taxi driver had been robbed. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the driver had been robbed by two males wielding a knife and a firearm. Suspects assaulted the driver and took R1 700.00 cash and his cell phone. Emergency Services and SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Our monitoring centre received a call reporting that an inebriated patron had forced his way back into the premises after closing which resulted in a smashed window. A scuffle ensured between the customer and staff before he was subdued. SAPS were informed.

Assault, Main Road, Observatory @ 21:22 on the 8th March 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a taxi driver had been attacked by a rival taxi driver. The assailant alleged that the victim was transporting his customers. No medical assistance was needed and the driver (victim) was escorted to SAPS to open a case.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a customer had entered the shop and consumed items from the shelves. He refused to pay and SAPS were dispatched who took him into custody.

Armed Robbery, Lion Street, Bo Kaap @ 20:47 on the 9th March 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call from a client reporting he had been robbed at knife point of R300.00 on the corners of Whitford and Buitengracht Street by two males. Client stopped a SAPS vehicle in the area and they escorted him home.
