Housebreak In & Theft, Hopeville Street, Gardens @ 18:45 on the 5 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a suspect had been apprehended by SAPS who had broken into one of the units.

Attempted Break In, Mill Street, Gardens @ 10:57 on the 6 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR of an attempted break in at a premises which had occurred the previous evening. No alarm signals were received. Suspect had gained access via St Quinton’s Road side through the courtyard and tried to take a ladder. Patrols were requested.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. Access had been gained via the back door window which had been removed. A laptop and Ipad were taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft, Hastings Street, Tamboerskloof @ 23:42 on the 9 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting that a male had stolen a laptop through an open window and ran off in the direction of Kloof Nek Road. AR was informed to be on the look-out and SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Attempted Break In, Victoria Road, Woodstock @ 03:42 on the 10 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the remote gate had been broken. At the back of the premises (which was locked and secured) was a ‘storeroom’ which housed tools and cement. It could not be established if anything had been taken as no key holder was available to come out. AR was asked to secure the gate and do patrols.
