Malicious Damage to Property, Grey Street, Woodstock @ 02:04 on the 9 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that while driving past a premises it was found that the padlock had been removed from the front gate and the lights were off on the first floor. A guard was requested to be posted as no one was available to come out for a thorough check to be done to establish if the premises had been burgled.

Housebreak In & Theft, Ritchie Street, University Estate @ 05:24 on the 9 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting the premises had been burgled. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access had been gained via an unlocked sliding door. No signals were received as the alarm was not armed. Suspect took a cell phone and a pair of sneakers and fled when chased by the client. AR recovered the items hidden in the bushes.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Albert Road, Woodstock @ 18:39 on the 9 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched on arrival requested a key holder as only a front check could be done. The premises was checked and it was found that the suspects had come over the roof and tried to gain access via a back window. They had removed the handle of the window but no access was gained and nothing was taken. The window was secured and patrols requested.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the garage had been broken into. There were no force marks on the door or window. Numerous items had been taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a suspect who had gotten away while being chased had broken into a garage. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a mountain bicycle that was taken was put back and the garage secured.

Theft, Bree Street, Cape Town @ 12:50 on the 11 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting someone had walked into a premises and grabbed a cell phone lying on a desk and then run off. It was assumed he was a worker therefore the door had been opened for him.
