Malicious Damage to Property, Strand Street, Woodstock @ 08:25 on the 2 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received a report from the AR that while driving past a premises he noticed the front gate was broken as well as a window. The burglar bars were still intact. Client was informed who came out and confirmed everything was still secure and stated a thorough check would be done to establish if access had been gained and if anything was taken.

Housebreak In & Theft, Rugley Road, Vredehoek @ 03:05 on the 3 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. Access had been gained via the kitchen door which was left open for the dogs and an Ipod and docking station had been taken. Client reported the incident to SAPS.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Upper Orange Street, Oranjezicht @ 09:37 on the 3 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and an all-round check was done. Marks were found on the patio door and a glass pane was missing. The tenant was informed who could not come out at the time and requested a guard be posted.

Motor Vehicle Break In, Cairnmount Avenue, Higgovale @ 18:33 on the 4 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call from a house sitter reporting that on New Year’s Day they found the client’s Mercedes Benz which was parked in the driveway with all its doors wide open. It could not be established if anything was taken as the client is currently overseas.

Housebreak In & Theft, Selkirk Street, Zonnebloem @ 01:59 on the 6 January 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a break in as the doors were standing open. SAPS were dispatched who checked the premises with AR as no key holders were available. A key holder arrived a few hours later and confirmed nothing had been taken.
