Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Aloe Road, Devils Peak @ 15:11 on the 22 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received multiple alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported he had spotted the suspect trying to break into the premises and gave chase. He apprehended him and the neighbourhood watch members also confirmed the same suspect had broken into a premises in Agapanthus Avenue. The bags taken from there were recovered as they were still in his possession. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Common Theft, Glen Avenue, Higgovale @ 11:35 on the 23 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a burglary. Two bicycles had been taken from the garage which had been standing open. The alarm had activated during the early hours of the morning and the client had confirmed everything was in order when called. There was no need for SAPS as the client would report the incident themselves.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Aloe Street, Devils Peak @ 18:04 on the 25 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call from a client in Noordelike Avenue reporting someone had run down the lane on the side of his premises and jumped over the neighbour's wall and was hiding in the bushes. AR and DPV were dispatched.  The neighbourhood watch confirmed the suspect had broken into a bakkie in Aloe Road. They gave chase and caught the suspect in Windburg Avenue and a laptop was recovered. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Higgo Road, Higgovale @ 19:16 on the 25 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival requested back up as the gates were standing open and there was no answer from the intercom. AR reported the premises had been burgled as the pedestrian gate had been forced open and the motor gate had been removed from its rail. A glass pane in the front door had been smashed to gain entry into the premises. Suspects then accessed the garage and removed a golf bag and clubs. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Labounere Street, Gardens @ 08:30 on the 26 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received a report via the neighbourhood watch radio that a vehicle parked in front of a premises had been broken into and a lap top and wallet had been taken. A description of the suspect who had run in the direction of Breda Street was given and AR was dispatched but no one was found.

MVA, Cnr Mill & Buitenkant Street, Gardens @ 10:42 on the 26 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting an accident. AR and Medic1 were dispatched and on arrival reported the driver of a silver grey Toyota had misjudged the robots and collided with an oncoming black Polo. The Polo swerved and hit a pole. There were no injuries and the drivers would report the accident to SAPS themselves.

Fire, Dickson Street, Woodstock @ 08:47 on the 27 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance as the roof of a premises was on fire. Fire and Rescue were dispatched and the fire was contained.

Shoplifting, Derry Street, Vredehoek @ 15:19 on the 28 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a male had been caught shoplifting. AR and SAPS were dispatched and on arrival reported the manager had let the suspect go with a warning from SAPS.

Robbery, Albert Road, Tamboerskloof @ 17:10 on the 28 July 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting two males and one female had robbed a female patient outside a surgery. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the victim had her spectacles taken. There was no need for SAPS as she would report the incident herself.
