Attempted Armed Robbery, Upper Buitengracht Street, Bo Kaap @ 04:28 on the 30 September 2013. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm signal. AR was disaptched and on arrival reported the security guard had been shot as the suspects had demanded the keys to the premises but when the alarm activated they ran off and nothing was stolen. Emergency services were dispatched as well as SAPS for further investigation.
