Rape, Longmarket Street, Cape Town @ 05:53 on the 10 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received an alarm signal from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the security officer on site stated that a female tenant had been raped. The victim had met the perpetrator in a night club the previous evening who had then accompanied her home. She was awakened after five when he started raping her. She called out to her flat mates and the suspect tried to escape through a bathroom window but was apprehended by AR. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Motor Vehicle Break In, Rosmead Avenue, Oranjezicht @ 08:23 on the 10 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting that the front gates to a premises had been forced open and a grey Ford had been broken into but nothing was taken. No alarm signals had been received as the front beams did not activate.

Housebreak In & Theft, Warwick Street, Vredehoek @ 22:02 on the 11 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported after checking the premises it was found that the store room door had been removed. Suspects had then entered through a trap door and a lap top was taken. There was no need for SAPS as the client would report the incident.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Rael Street, Tamboerskloof @ 09:51 on the 12 February 2017. Our monitoring centre recived a call reporting that a vehicle had been broken into. The small back window of a Kia Picanto had been smashed and an empty GPS bag was taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

No signals were received as the alarm had not been armed. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported access had been gained via a window. There was no need for SAPS as it could not be established if anything had been taken.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the client’s white Toyota Fortuner had been broken into. The back left window had been smashed and a black and red bag was taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Belle Ombre Road, Tamboerskloof @ 17:06 on the 14 February 2017.Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. No alarm signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the kitchen window had been smashed. Items taken were a mountain bicycle, an Ipad, GHD hair straightener, camera and possibly some clothing and shoes. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Housebreak In & Theft, Breda Street, Gardens @ 10:32 on the 15 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled during the early hours of the morning. Staff had pressed the panic buttons but no signals were received. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported suspects had climbed over the electric fence which had been switched off and gained access through an open window and taken a cell phone and other items. SAPS had already been in attendance.

Armed Robbery, Hope Street, Gardens @ 14:07 on the 15 February 2017. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a female had been robbed at gun point by two males outside the premises. The suspects had taken the spare wheel of her Tata Indica and other items.  A security guard tried to approach them but stopped when the gun was pointed at him. The suspects fled in a white Toyota Corolla. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.
