Common Theft, Sir George Grey Street, Oranjezicht @ 19:11 on the 18th November 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a watch valued at R40 000 had been stolen earlier in the day. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the suspect had taken the Porto Fino stainless steel watch through an open window without burglar bars. The client’s wife had been at home and confirmed the suspect had not gained entry into the premises. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Fire, Upper Orange Street, Gardens @ 05:17 on the 19 November 2016. Our monitoring centre received a report from AR that while on patrol he had spotted the bushes in the front garden area of a premises burning. There was no need for the Fire Department as AR had extinguished the fire.

Malicious Damage to Property, Sir George Grey Street, Oranjezicht @ 09:28 on the 19 November 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a stone had been thrown through the window. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the suspect had fled after throwing the stone and SAPS were already in attendance.

Housebreak In & Theft, Scott Street, Gardens @ 01:40 on the 21 November 2016. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. Access had been gained via an unsecured balcony door and a 40” flat screen television had been taken. Client declined SAPS at the time and said he would follow up later.

Theft, Hilton Road, Oranjezicht @ 05:27 on the 23 November 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call to report that when the alarm had activated a few minutes earlier (the client had confirmed all was in order and there was no need for AR) someone had gained access onto the premises and stolen the outside tap.
