Shoplifting, Annandale Road, Gardens @ 00:46 on the 28 May 2016. Our monitoring centre received panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a suspect had been apprehended for stealing packets of sweets. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Theft Out of Motor Vehicle, Alexandra Avenue, Oranjezicht @ 06:06 on the 30 May 2016. Our monitoring centre received a request for assistance from OH Watch as someone was breaking into a vehicle. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the suspect was still inside the vehicle, a black Ford Fiesta which was parked on the street. The suspect exited the vehicle and approached the AR with a knife. AR fired a warning shot and the suspect fled the scene. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

AR was dispatched and on arrival reported a male had entered the shop and grabbed cigarettes before fleeing down the road. AR was asked to be on the look-out as a description was given.

Theft out of Motor Vehicle, Upper Mill Street, Vredehoek @ 01:06 on the 2 June 2016. Our monitoring centre received a panic alarm from a premises. AR was dispatched and arrival reported two suspects had broken into a grey Opel Corsa. The driver’s side window had been smashed and a make-up bag was stolen. The client reported the incident to SAPS themselves.
