Attempted Theft, Leeukloof Drive, Tamboerskloof @ 21:12 on the 24 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting two males had attempted to steal a motor cycle from an open garage. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported that suspects had fled the scene when discovered by the client.

Housebreak In & Theft, Leeukop Street, Tamboerskloof @ 10:17 on the 25 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a premises had been burgled. No alarm signals had been received although it was confirmed the alarm had been armed. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported client had arrived home from church to discover a male jumping out the bedroom window with two bags. The suspect dropped one of the bags as he fled. Items taken were jewellery and a cell phone. Access had been gained by smashing a back window without burglar bars. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.

Theft, Forest Road, Oranjezicht @ 10:49 on the 25 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a male who had stolen a bicycle from a premises was lying unconscious in the street after riding into a wall. Emergency Services were dispatched and escorted the suspect/patient who had sustained injuries to his neck, back and left side. It was confirmed that the owner of the bicycle would go to SAPS to lay charges.

Theft, Vredehoek Avenue, Vredehoek @ 15:50 on the 25 March 2016. Our monitorning centre received a report from the AR that he was informed by a tenant who rents an office on a property we respond to, that he had stepped out for a few minutes and when returning found that a lap top, I pad, a smart phone and a wallet had been stolen. Nothing had been taken from our client and SAPS were already in attendance.

Common Theft, Upper Orange Street, Oranjezicht @ 12:19 on the 30 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call for assistance via the neighbourhood watch radio. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the tenant a bicycle had been stolen from the premises. There was no need for SAPS as it was uncertain if the client would file charges. Burglary alarm signals had been received prior, but the AR could only do a front and right side check.

Trespassing, Leeuwendal Crescent, Higgovale @ 17:05 on the 31 March 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call requesting assistance as an intruder had been apprehended. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the owner of the premises, plumbers were working in the upstairs area and the suspect entered the property and proceeded up the stairs. When stopped and questioned he pretended to be looking for work. SAPS were dispatched as the owner wanted to file charges.

Housebreak In & Theft, Upper Buitenkant Street, Vredehoek @ 03:50 on the 1 April 2016. Our monitoring centre received burglary alarm signals from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. Suspects had smashed the front window to gain entry. It could not be established what had been taken. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation. Later it was reported as per the camera footage, two males had tried to remove the safe but had ended up taking packets of cigarettes only.
