Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Kloof Nek Road, Tamboerskloof @ 21:51 on the 20 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received a phone in alarm. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported there was broken glass lying on the ground. On further investigation it was found that the glass window above the back door had been broken and there were force marks on it but no entry had been gained. As per the alarm company the key holder was unable to come out and requested patrols be done.

Housebreak In &Theft, Bree Street, Cape Town @ 17:36 on the 21 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglar alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled and a Ford Fiesta had been involved. Access had been gained via a right hand side door. The client could not confirm if anything had been taken until a proper inventory had been done. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation who later confirmed the vehicle registration plates belonged to a Toyota Corolla.

Housebreak In & Theft, Robins Road, Observatory @ 03:45 on the 23 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting the premises had been burgled. The alarm had activated at 00:11 and when called, the client had confirmed all was in order. It was later discovered a gas bottle had been taken from the garage. There was no need for SAPS or AR.

Shoplifting, Annandale Street, Gardens @ 22:18 on the 23 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarm signals from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the manager had apprehended a male for theft. They had suspected he had taken items from the shelves as he had roamed around the store for a while and when approached and asked to open his bag he refused. A scuffle ensured and some of the items fell out of his bag. The value of all the items was R1035.10. SAPS were dispatched and the suspect was taken into custody.

Housebreak In & Theft, Jutland Avenue, Vredehoek @ 09:49 on the 24 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received multiple panic alarms from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported as per the tenant there had been an intruder on the property. When checking, it was found that another premises on the same property had been broken into and a laptop was taken. The suspect had jumped over the backyard fence and smashed a window. He had then used a broom to pull a chair with the laptop on it closer. There was no need for SAPS as no charges were being made.

Attempted Housebreak In & Theft, Plein Street, Woodstock @ 22:33 on the 25 February 2016. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting a possible break in. AR was dispatched and on arrival met with the client who was still working therefore the alarm had not been armed. As per the client, he had heard someone on the roof and alerted the AR but the suspect had fled the scene. The suspect had removed some of the roof tiles but had not gained access. SAPS were dispatched for further investigation.
