Week 32: 31 July 2015 to 7 August 2015

Housebreak In & Theft , Buitenkant Street, Gardens @ 04:49 on the 1^st August 2015. Our monitoring centre received multiple burglary signals from a premises. AR was dispatched and on arrival reported the premises had been burgled. Back up was requested as it seemed as if there may have been someone inside. SAPS were dispatched who searched the premises but no one was found. The front door had been forced open by using a crow bar and an Apple Mac laptop had been taken.

MVA – Cnr Rheede and Orange Street Gardens @ 10:00 on the 5 August 2015. Our monitoring centre received a call reporting an accident involving a Volvo and a Corsa bakkie. Medic 1 was dispatched and on arrival reported a pedestrian crossing the road had coursed the accident. The bakkie had swerved to avoid the pedestrian but still knocked him and then collided with the Volvo. The patient sustained injuries to his left leg and right hand. He was escorted to Somerset Hospital by ER24.
